Necessary Documents

You should obtain some necessary application documents during the formal process of land registry. In order to complete title deed transaction and ownership registry smoothly please provide following documents prior to your application to Land Registry (Tapu) office. If you fail to provide necessary documents, your application for title deed will not be accepted.

1 - Seller’s Documents

If Seller is Private Person
» Identity Card or Passport
» Title Deed of the Property
» Fair Value Document from the Municipality
» 1 Passport Size Photograph

If Seller is Merchant Company;
» License of Authorization
» Signature Circular
» Tax Number

2 - Buyer’s Documents

If Buyer is Private Person
» Identity Card or Passport
» 2 Passport Size Photographs

If Buyer is Merchant Company;
» License of Authorization
» Signature Circular
» Tax Number

Notes;
» If there is a proxy for buyer or seller, the original copy of power of attorney by notary public, the proxy’s original and copy of identity card, 1 passport size photograph of Proxy should be included in the documents.
» All original documents (License of Authorization, Signature Circular, Tax Number) required during the application.

If Buyer is Foreign Nationality;
» Turkish translation of passport by Notary Public (original)
» Tax number or temporary tax number
» 2 Passport Size Photographs
» If the buyer does not speak Turkish official translator is required
